  1. I really liked the logical fallacies we learned today because I have always wanted a list of them. The common fallacies used in political debates are Ad Hominem and circular reasoning. I think it is important to know and be able to distinguish fallacy from truthful reasons. The final exam options are great because it offers something other than a long test. I think I am going to choose the ten page play. The play will be great because I like using my creativity.

    3. I like that the professor gave us several options for our final. It will still stress me out though because I will pick the test. Oh well, hopefully we all do good on it.

  2. Today's activities were pretty useful. Learning about the fallacies was pretty interesting. And it was also fun to work in groups on the activity. It gave us a chance to collaborate with our classmates. I am also very happy with the final exam options because I would rather do a project then take a test. Especially seeing how I prefer to write stories and poems.

    2. It was that we could work as a group because the exercise today was a bit difficult to comprehend. Also, I was surprised when the professor offered us several options for our finals. Hopefully we all choose an option that is suitable for us.

  3. Today was a productive day. We discussed argumentative/persuasive essays and the logical fallacies, the final exam options, and we did an end-of-the-semester assessment. The logical fallacies were interesting. We were able to do an exercise with a group to identify the logical fallacies. I thought some were a bit confusing. After the discussion on the logical fallacies, we talked about the final exam options. I think I would rather take the test. I feel that it's more convenient for me. Especially since I am not a fan of writing poems and stories. After the discussions, we did an end-of-the-semester assessment. We had to choose one topic from the three that were given and write about it. I dislike in-class essays. I feel pressured having to write an essay with a short amount of time.

    1. I'm not a fan of writing a lot of (good) poems and stories, haha, so I think I will take the test too. I think it ties in with being pressured to write in a certain amount of time.

    2. Today was a very productive day. Learned about logical fallacies that made my day stressful. Not to mention the essay at the end of class that was quite pressuring. Hopefully, we all did well on the essay (even though it is not graded).

  4. Today, we had read about the logical fallacies. We did an exercise where we had to identify the logical fallacy that the problem was grouped as. I found it quite challenging because I was not able to understand the sentences very well. After the exercise, we talked about the end of the semester assessment. After that, Professor Rivera gave us several options on how we could do our finals. Overall, today was a stressful day.
